What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI clients call tools securely. The Bridge is a WordPress-native MCP server — it turns your site into a set of allow-listed, licensed tools.
Which AI clients work with it?
Any MCP-capable client. We use it daily with Claude Desktop and Claude Code over an authenticated HTTP endpoint.
Is it safe to run on a live site?
Yes. It is capability-checked, entitlement-gated, and audit-logged, and it shares nothing with other plugins. WooCommerce and analytics are read-first, and content writes are reversible from WordPress revisions.
Can it break my site?
Every write is scoped and revision-backed, so any change can be rolled back. Denied calls are logged too, so you always have a full trail.
How do updates work?
Licensed installs receive updates through the normal WordPress updates screen via the EECONS License Manager — no manual reinstalls.
